MMA Training curriculum:
1. Brazillian Jujitsu (BJJ) Gi/no Gi
2. Western style or traditional boxing
3. Wrestling / MMA take downs and defense
4. MMA – Submissions, Technique, Striking, Sparring, Take downs, Defense.
5. Muay Thai & Kick boxing
6. Strength & Conditioning
Our instructors are of the highest caliber in their respective fields and many have competed at the highest level of their sports. The Academy’s aim is to bring this knowledge to the student and seasoned fighters. While the lessons are are taught expertly, we also aim to make them enjoyable and fun when we can.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
A combat sport and martial art with a firm focus on grappling the opponent, with an emphasis on taking them down to ground combat.
By applying lock holds, joint locks and choke holds it promotes the priniple that the size of your opponent is not the important factor and the smaller, weaker contestants can be victorious.
The art of eight limbs, Muay Thai & kick boxing training are essential skills of MMA making use of punching, elbows, knees, kicks and hard knee strikes. Siam Academy have experienced and professional masters to coach you in this discipline.
‘Ground & Pound’ up and close MMA that focuses on clinch work, take downs and submissions along with striking to opponent while down.
The skills of grappling and wrestling are examined and we teach our students the necessary techniques that form this essential element of true MMA fighting that enables you to utilize every combat discipline that fighters have in their arsenal of weapons.
Pure boxing from western disciplines provides no better way for improving your punching and defense skills at close quarter fighting. Through a series of drills, sparring, shadow boxing, speed-bag and heavy bag work, you’ll be taken through the program to get your body conditioned & fighting fit!
This element of the MMA training is also great for weight-loss!
At the core of every good MMA fighter, strength and conditioning form the basics that are worked on regularly. Combat conditioning is designed to improve cardiovascular, muscular and the bodies core strength.
A fighter needs to be fit enough to dominate an opponent, powerful, fast and have in his reserves enough endurance that allows him to perform until he has won the bout.
MMA Training Schedule
1. There are 2 sessions held every day MMA training at the academy (except Sundays). Your training is based on your level of experience in each fighting discipline and our trainers will help you improve at all levels.

Note – Please allow 15 to 20 minutes after each session to warm down by using the Academy fitness facilities.
